Summary
A Ouizzy Pride & Prejudice AU
It is a truth universally acknowledged, that an unmated alpha in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of an omega, but no one ever stopped to consider whether an unmated omega must in turn be in want of an alpha.
Frenchie is grateful for the position granted to him at Bonnet House. He’s found security and friendship, which are hard to find as an unmarried omega with no family. He wants to keep Bonnet House safe, but that safety is threatened when Stede falls for Edward Teach, a self-made alpha new to the neighborhood. Summary
When Lucius gets sent on an errand by Stede—his magicless boss who is currently shacking up with Blackbeard, the most notorious sorcerer in history—he’s expecting a mild disaster at best. That’s how these things usually go. What he gets instead is an introduction to Izzy Hands: talented purveyor of magical items, secretive shut-in, and just the kind of handsome that Lucius finds difficult to resist.
Lucius is thinking that charming Izzy will be his biggest challenge of the day, but neither of them can know about the old enemy of Edward's lurking nearby in the shadows. If they don't quickly figure out how to work together, Blackbeard's past might just overshadow the sparks (both magical and not) flying between them.

Summary
He’s fighting to hold the tears back now, lines in his face deepening with the effort. He reaches out, and touches the edge of the sackcloth covering Ed’s face.
He doesn’t know if he can do it. He doesn’t know if he can face him. Doesn’t know if he can face the consequences of his own actions. He hadn’t known. How could he have known that he’d the capability to hurt a person with his absence? He’s only used to hurting people with his presence.
He brings his hands away again, leaving the sackcloth in place.
The body stays still, no accusations, no judgement, no absolution.
...What if Ed didn't wake up?

Summary
A character study of Jim on the Revenge between the end of Season One and midway through Impossible Birds (S2E1) because their offscreen arc is fucking fascinating.
So it goes like that. Stories on okay nights, and sometimes also on the nights that are too dark. Sometimes it’s not stories, but reminiscing about when times were better. Archie is fascinated by how things used to be on the Revenge, is constantly asking to hear more about Stede Bonnet and his People-Positive Management Style, to the point that that becomes one of the stories in rotation. Jim half-expects Izzy to skip those nights but he stays, whittles something or fiddles with a hank of rope. He never contributes, but he stays.
Jim looks around the circle and thinks it helps, probably. Helps to escape for a while, to remember. To grieve. To be human together for an hour or so, before they have to go back to being demons. It might help in the way a stone helps divert the flow of a river, but it’s all they have. It's got to be enough.

Summary
Five times Izzy talked about Stede, and one time he talked to him.
Izzy has been a farm worker, and now manager, for decades. He's been hired by a fancy newcomer with fancy new ideas. He's definitely not into him.
“So Ivan was right,” he says, into the silence, feeding them. “Posh knob from the city; hasn’t got a clue. Probably read a few articles in the Guardian — “
“Farmer’s Guardian?” Fang asks. Fang’s always going to try and see a positive side to everything.
“Regular Guardian, I reckon,” Izzy dismisses, “And thinks that he can come out here and show all the uneducated farmers how to do their own fucking job that they’ve been doing for decades. Don’t think he’d know which end of a lambing sheep to go at even if there were two hooves sticking out.”
