Summary
You sit up slowly, blinking a few times to clear the bleariness from your eyes. The blanket covering you falls into your lap, revealing your naked torso to the cool air. Light-purple hickeys color your chest and abdomen.
It’s then that the memories of last night come to you. You left the bar with a handsome man. Giyuu is his name, if you remember correctly. This is his apartment.
Or, a modern day strangers to lovers romance between you and Giyuu Tomioka.

Summary
Tsukimi Ubuyashiki is eleven years old, perfectly healthy, and currently the only member of her family not rotting from an ancient curse. She believes the demons they hunt are victims of a sickness—not monsters—and that a cure is worth searching for, even if it means refusing to pick up a sword.
She is, therefore, a logistical problem for everyone who loves her.
What follows is a decades-long campaign of aggressive hospitality, tactical paperwork, and extremely persistent friendship. Tsukimi reorganizes the Corps’ supply chains, tries to adopt every traumatized child within a five-mile radius, and starts visiting the Water Estate every morning with tea, mochi, and a stubborn refusal to leave until its solitary occupant admits he could use the company. (Tomioka Giyu is baffled.)
As the war escalates and the cost of mercy grows steeper, the Master’s sister must finally answer the question she’s been running from: can she take up a blade without losing the very compassion that made her refuse it?
Features: weaponized shogi metaphors, poison as an act of kindness, a feral boar boy who communicates entirely through headbutts, and a Water Hashira who is perpetually ambushed.
