Upon hearing the impossible request from Rex Lapis himself, the nation of Liyue rushed to fulfill his wish the best they could. In the end, they ultimately failed. As a result, they faced his wrath. Famine. Droughts. Flooding.
Pitying the suffering mortals, the people were given another year to fulfill his request.
Still hopeless by the deadline, Aether arrives.
But something goes wrong during the ritual and Aether is captured into the domain of Rex Lapis himself. He has little knowledge of how infatuated Liyue's Archon is with him, and the lengths he would take to make Aether his.

Summary
Albedo had always been the target his absolute affection, a delicate and charming prince who never failed to captivate him. Through any sort of obstacle, Sora always stood by him. In his shadow, he would throw his own life away in hopes to catch Albedo’s affection. But in the end, he was nothing more than a thorn in his side.
With no other reason to continue any longer, his pitiful life as Sora comes to a sorrowful end.
But as if the Archons were not welcome to his passing, he is sent sixteen years back and reborn again as Aether, daughter of the noble Carnation family.
Hoping to start anew, she demolishes any thought of her previous life, instead, hoping to engage in the prosperity of her Kingdom. However, instead of her long awaited peace, she is greeted with the pure opposite.

Of course, malevolence never practiced benevolence. With it’s deceiving eyes preying on Aether, he must seek aid from his newfound companions in search for his freedom and uncover the secrets of his past.
