She sings the first thing that comes to mind, to do anything to stop Faramir shaking so badly, and what she sings is Waldere, an old ballad that she still remembers perfectly word-for-word, used to calm small children when the wind picks up outside on the plains and howls like a dying man—
(She cries too, a little bit, and they stay like that til morning.)
