Summary
It's always hard as a child when your parents divorce, but it's even harder when you find out that your most recent mother is mated to a vampire from your past. Specifically, a vampire who may have killed you in the past. So, Addeline does what any sensible thirteen year old should. She leaves her new home in Santa Carla to go and find an old friend in New Orleans. After ten years though, Gramps gets sick, and she needs to go back and say goodbye. But, that means she'll have to face her new vampire family. A vampire family that she was destined to be a part of, she just doesn't know it yet. Fucking fate.
