James Moriarty was a good teacher. He was also a great friend. But somehow, on a rainy night, as the teacher's broken laugh echoes, the first affirmation put an end to the second one, for Casey Selmore.
As this analysis continues, James Moriarty is just not a good person, and someone who is evil cannot be considered a "good teacher" anymore.
Ludger Chelsea is a good teacher. He is a good colleague, would say other people, too intimidated by that man to get close. And somehow Ludger Chelsea's existence contradicts the conclusions of Casey Selmore.
James Moriarty's final problem is the cause of Casey Selmore unextinguishing guilt. And no matter how much water she pours on, it continues to burn. Because at the end, a single rainy night broke them, and spilled water cannot return back to the plate.Or, a take on Casey and Ludger's Relationship.

An interesting plot point in this story is that it's hinted that Baizhu and Pantalone's mother had an affair, but if Baizhu and Pantalone look identical and Pantalone is described to look and act like their father, isn't it likely that Baizhu looks like their father too and the green hair could just be a recessive gene from his mother's side but their father just doesn't believe their mother for some reason? Was she actually caught having an affair or was the hair enough to set their father off, even if he looks like his dad in his face? And what about Baizhu's original eye color before his contract with Changsheng switched their eyes? Was that another source of tension?
And, yeah, threatening to throw your sick son out into the Snezhnayan cold - whether you think he's an affair baby or not - is a surefire way to make your wife run away with said child in order to protect him. But it looks like the dad may have badmouthed Baizhu and his ex-wife to Pantalone seeing how Pantalone thought about Baizhu and how he seems to think Baizhu *took* their mother away when he was actually basically forced to leave with her. But it also looks like the mother succeeded in eventually poisoning Baizhu against his father (kinda deserved) and brother too (not deserved), going by Baizhu's hatred of the Fatui and how he's treating his brother now.
The father was in the wrong for how he treated Baizhu and the mother was in the wrong for how she treated Pantalone. She assumed that Pantalone would end up just like his father and then left him alone with said father without an explanation, basically ensuring that he did end up just like his father. The parents failed them both.
And now, it's time to see how the brothers handle this fallout. Can they reconcile? Or are they doomed? Pantalone's jealousy about Childe finding Baizhu first may be a hint that their relationship is still salvageable. I want to see more of that jealousy when he sees how nice Baizhu is to those he cares about (Qiqi, Changsheng, Gui, Traveler, Paimon, Zhongli, Hu Tao {that would be hilarious}, etc). Or even if he has an attack in front of Pantalone but won't let him help, yet he lets someone else help (Gui, etc).
Also, it seemed that their mother may have died (maybe because of Baizhu's character story) and we don't know if their father is still alive or not. That will be an interesting plot point to revisit. Especially since Pantalone's attitude seems to hint that their father might still be angry if he's still alive.
This story has me imagining all kinds of scenarios anday spark a few stories of my own.
