Baz Pitch loves, in no particular order; David Bowie, punk music, the feel of old vinyl, the smell of coffee (but not the taste), classic books, magic, David Byrne, the fact that he was raised by his aunt Fiona, and maybe, sometimes, Simon Snow.

Summary
"You didn't need to say it explicitly, I'm a smart guy! And I would be a better top than Shitty-kawa any day of the week." He points an accusatory finger in Oikawa's face, but the other just continues to smirk.
"You seem eager to find out, Makki." Oikawa says. "Why don't you ask?"
Or: Hanamaki thinks he would be a better top than Oikawa. Oikawa fucks him within an inch of his life to prove him wrong.

Summary
Hope and Lyall made a promise to "do anything for him" - and they will - but it's very hard to do it with a smile when everyone in the house is sleep deprived and traumatised, a month after the bite.
~
When Remus had been freshly three, bedroom still littered with birthday presents and having just had chocolate cake washed out of his still silk-fine hair, he'd learned about monsters for the first time.
A book that her parents had sent, full of made-up creatures and whimsical nonsense. He'd cried - she remembered it so vividly - when it was time to put the book down. Not because he wanted more, but because the giant in the story was far too vivid and and had captured his little imagination in the worst way. She could see him still in her mind's eye, tear-streaked red cheeks, warbling out fragmented worries between wet gasps.
"It's okay. It's not real," she'd said.
How she wished she could still wipe his tears, kiss his head, and mean that.
