    He’s sure hell is real, because he’s dead and it seems to be his mandated destination. Right in the center, where the frigid lake of ice wraps around his waist. Not a soul in sight as they were all ripped away, leaving behind only the corpses of his... of them.

    He can’t say their names. Can’t say who they are. Can’t open his eyes without seeing them. Can’t close them without their bodies printed on his lids. Can’t hear his own voice without hearing their screams. Can’t breathe without knowing they’re not.

     

    They are dead.

     

    He has died. He is dead. He will die.

     

    And when he does, his life will flash before his eyes.

    He will beg for nobody to save him and regardless of acceptance or satisfaction, he will plead for it all to just end.

     

    Until he wakes up from his dream to do it all again.

    If there is one thing that he has learned, it is that surviving is hard. By itself, choosing to survive and continuing to exist will be one of the hardest things to accomplish. By the next day he’s surprised he didn't die the day before.

    He should be dead by now, right?

    Didn’t his story essentially end the moment he was handed his death sentence in a diagnosis? Or was that where it began?

    He’s not sure if he believes in beginnings and endings.

    Does it matter how an ending starts when the end is near? Does it matter who is there and who isn’t, what he endures or overcomes? Does it matter how hard he tries, or how much he cares?

    People like Izuku survive until they don’t.

    Is that Living? Is it Surviving? Is it Death?

    ...What's the fucking difference?

    Izuku learned at a very young age that love is conditional. Love is a reward for following the rules, love is reserved for those who are worthy of it, for those who are loveable.
    Izuku was not loveable, well at least not according to anyone he'd ever met.
    All he ever wanted to do was help people, to be someone worthy of loving but at 12 years old he's left with nothing and no one. Living on the streets he has to make his own way in life and maybe help some of the people in this community he's found himself in.
    Follow his journey as Izuku skirts the line of the law saving people and maybe even finding someone who thinks he's worth loving.

    Izuku and Katsuki aren't together anymore. To take up his time, Izuku joins his school's band club, becomes the lead singer, makes some impulsive decisions, and accidentally gets a little famous. All because he's downright heartbroken, and Katsuki isn't (or at least, he doesn't look it).

    Maybe some people were just meant to find their way back to each other. It might take a few stumbles, though.

    Izuku Midoriya hates a lot of things: the heat, people sneezing without covering their mouths, falling behind on notes, Katsuki Bakugo, and oh, a new addition to that list, his physics teacher.

    Getting paired with Katsuki Bakugo wasn’t a decision he could change, so he has two choices. Either he could completely ignore their partnership, work on the project entirely himself, and fail, or he could suck up pettiness, put their differences aside, and deal with it.

    Unfortunately for Izuku, anything involving Katsuki was bound to be disastrous.
