Summary
THE SHADOWS is the second part of my semi-canonical trilogy. It's story-driven, romantic, sometimes smutty and ~angsty~, with healthy doses of comedy and silly camp dynamics topping it off. Point of view is half and half between Tav and Gale, with flashbacks and narrative attention paid to non-ship characters and their interconnecting dynamics and backgrounds.

Summary
Astarion is a celebrity infamous for a failed public relationship with media mogul Cazador. He's counting on a gimmicky cooking show to help him rehabilitate his reputation and free him from Cazador's shadow. Gale is a guest chef on the cooking show trying to keep his small restaurant, Waterdeep, from going under during pandemic-era lockdowns. Hijinx ensue as one episode of filming turns into a remote connection both quickly come to rely on. But what will it take from them to finally come out from behind their screens?

Summary
Edith moved to Baldur's Gate a year ago, after her shop in Waterdeep burned to the ground in the middle of the night. And just when she declared she would remake her life, the mind flayers came. Now, she's traveling with mysterious strangers who all have their own secrets, even as she buries her own. The one perk to all of this is that one of those strangers happens to be Gale of Waterdeep, an old acquaintance and old crush of Edith's.
Except, now, after a year apart, Gale seems... different. Something is wrong. Will Edith figure it out or will she be kept in the dark? Can they work together to cure their tadpoles, or will their personalities keep clashing until their relationship turns to dust?
