When her plane finally touches down in Bangkok, the only thing that crosses Jennie's mind is that she's tired.
Tired of working long hours into the dead of night. Tired of feigning a smile and forcing conversation over dinner dates. Tired of laying awake and staring at the ceiling, thinking herself in circles until her brain felt like mush. Tired of having everything she thought she wanted.
She doesn't want anything from this trip, she's decided: she is going to eat something delicious and lay on the beach and swim in the ocean and just not think so much anymore, for a little while.
Maybe there's a certain Thai dancer who could help her with that.
