A puff of air slipped from between Ewron's lips. He seemed winded. “It's… yeah, I think it is.”
“I haven’t done it properly in a long time. It's like a mosquito bite, though. An itch I can't scratch.”
“Okay.” Ewron stood up, stretched his limbs cat-like. “Then, shall we?”

Ewron leaned an inch too far over the side of the boat, just enough for his wet boots to lose traction on the damp wood. “Shit–”
He tried to catch himself, arms flailing for balance, before he toppled over the side and hit the water with a loud, chaotic splash.
“Oh, you’ve got to be kidding me,” Ash muttered. Then, without hesitation, he dove in after him, cutting through the cold, churning water.
OR,
During one of Ewron and Ash’s usual boat meetings, Ewron accidentally injures himself, leaving him bedbound under Ash’s care.
Ash would be a fool not to take advantage of the situation and make fun of the clumsy red panda hybrid.

“Wings.” Ewron exhales softly, expression going slack.
Two crescent moons (more crater than lunar dust). Stunted. Weighted down by neglect. Ewron can’t tell which bird they’re corresponding to, but the murky black pinions sit huddled between Ash’s shoulderblades like a narrow valley.
“Wings,” Ash says it through his teeth, as though admitting to a nasty, untreated wound. But they’re incredible—like a siren or an angel—Ewron can’t decide, not when his hands are already searching for a bucket. “I could never reach them. They’re kind of. A mess, now.”

Graf had come up with a “brilliant” idea of organizing a wedding. The problem was that the bride and groom were supposed to be Ewron and Nexe.
An even bigger problem was that the guests apparently had no understanding of concepts like “safety,” “moderation,” or “logic.” As a result, everything that could go wrong went exactly in that direction.
And yet, somewhere between the shouting, the absurdity, and the nonstop chaos, the day started to resemble something strangely close to happiness.
And in the end, Ewron was sitting quietly, eating his peanuts.
OR Graf organized a wedding, and Nexe is on the verge of collapse.

"Something else dissapeared?" Nexe asked.
"Yeah, more food, blankets, pillows. I was actually gonna put a bed in my office and there was none."
"That's... weird." Graf frowned.

"Maybe, but who would-" Multi stopped talking as he heard the sound of heavy footsteps coming closer and he looked behind him. His eyes went wide and so did the others' as they saw who was walking.
Ewron was dressed in a similiar black hoodie, holding a pillow in his hands and a few blankets were thrown over his shoulder. As he came closer they could see the disgruntled expression on his face.

Summary
It wasn’t just him, Nexe noticed the same behavior with anyone who came across Ewron. When they greeted him excitedly and expected the same energy back, he would respond the same way he did with Nexe.
Everybody noticed, but nobody said anything. It brought down the mood of most people. After all, Ewron was the light in the room that everyone so easily followed.
He started to see Ewron get angry at small things. Like truly angry, which was very unusual for him. Most of the time, being angry was just an act for him to try and make things more interesting.
Nexe noticed his own mood dimming a little. He was used to the dopamine rush Ewron gave him everyday. The world became just a bit more quiet.
Or
Ewron is acting weird and distancing from everyone and Nexe can’t let it go.
