He was the kind of person Ryousuke could see in himself, but he himself could never be, never wanting anything but to hold him so close that his lungs would give out.
And so it was warm and Kuramochi was his first thought, his first action, his first breath of the day.

Summary
Maya wasn't allowed into the place Mia spent her days after exhaustion. She wasn't allowed in even after her own proclaims of family. Maybe it was a good thing she didn't step foot into the place that would burden her so, with reminders of an evil that wasn't even so. Even the front of Mia's apartment looked as when she first touched her heart into Los Angeles.
In a last fleet, Maya slumped over her shoulder, solemn with the purgatory of place, dared it no more and turned away. Her feet pattered against the stiffened concrete, on to the path of defeat home, without her promise and without Mia.
