What begins as an inconvenience quickly spirals into something far worse, as he finds himself struggling with the mounting realization: no one has noticed. Dick didn’t bother to check and see if Damian had listened to him as he moved closer to Jason’s prone form and knelt next to him. Jason’s chest was moving, indicating that he was still alive, at least. On his knees, Dick rolled his brother onto his back and removed his helmet.
“Holy shit,” Dick exclaimed, staring slack-jawed at the face of a young girl, her delicate features framed with long dark hair that had a section of white splayed over her face. “What the hell?”
“Nightwing?” Barbara’s voice sounded concerned over the comms. “Nightwing, what did you find?”
