“‘You need to get out of the house,’ they said. ‘Come on a hike’, they said.” Jisung mutters under his breath, just nearly missing a low-hanging branch that hung down over the makeshift path. Daylight was fleeting, and Jisung was completely and utterly lost.
“Damn Bang Chan and Seo Changbin. Straight to hell, the both of them. Why can’t they just leave well enough alone.” Jisung curses loudly, his voice echoing through the thick forest and scaring off a flock of birds from a nearby tree. Jisung was too focused on cursing his friends out to notice that the makeshift dirt pathway had turned to stone, lined with relics and totems alike.
Perhaps if he had been more aware, he would’ve noticed the pair of glowing yellow eyes watching him intently from the shadows.
