Summary
If you had told Prince Theseus he had stolen one of the King’s prized stallions and run off, he would’ve laughed but enjoyed the entertainment.
So it comes to everyone’s surprise when, for unspoken reasons, a prince who has everything anyone could ever want, decides to run away, far into a forest filled with mysteries, and creatures brewing life into the very soil he dare stand foot on.
And yet, it comes to no surprise when he realizes that this beautiful forestry filled with endearment holds everything that could’ve given him everything royalty couldn’t.

Three thoughts invades Dazai’s mind as he gets a glimpse of what’s waiting for him in the room.
1) Chuuya was in fact home and not out and about somewhere Dazai wasn’t aware of.
2) Chuuya was wearing his long, pink, satin robe with fur lining the hems and sleeves, which he only wore on very special occasions.
3) Chuuya did not look angry. He was simply sitting on the couch with his legs crossed and reading a book, almost looking too calm for comfort.
Danger level: Completely Unknown
Or: It is Dazai and Chuuya’s 4 year anniversary, but Dazai got held up at the ADA by a particularly annoying case, and when he gets home, his partner has a very nice surprise waiting for him.

Silence.
Akutagawa’s fingers stilled on the keyboard. Slowly, painfully slowly, she turned her head, grey eyes fixing on Atsushi like she was staring at an equation that had personally offended her.

Both suffering from period cramps, Dazai suggests a natural source of pain relief. And of course, the fastest way to get Dazai to shut up about something is to just roll with whatever stupid idea she has.
At least, that's what Chuuya keeps telling herself.
