   Summary

   Ponyboy knew there was something wrong with him. He knew he wasn’t the same as the other kids who felt everything so deeply that he wasn’t sure how they functioned.

   It had taken him an embarrassingly long time to realize that he was the weird one. That most people didn’t think like him.

   That the arbitrary ‘Rules of Society’ weren’t as arbitrary as he thought.
