Summary
An eternity alone can change a person. Kim Dokja knows this better than anyone.
Even in the safety of the new world, he can’t sleep without the gnawing fear of dreaming again—of salvation, of safety, of comfort.
Yoo Joonghyuk, who has crossed lifetimes to reach him, now faces a single, endless task: to anchor a god who is afraid of his own dreams.

“I didn't…want you to see this.” Yoo Joonghyuk’s voice was barely above a whisper. “Because I knew you'd panic.”
Dokja exhaled slowly, watching Yoo Joonghyuk blink against the brush of air over his cheeks.
“You should have told me. It's dangerous.”
“It's beautiful,” Yoo Joonghyuk insisted, pushing his forehead against Dokja's own, like he could insert the sentiment through his skull. Idiot. “Plus, it…helps me, too.”
“How?”
“Because…when I wake up in the middle of the night,” he whispered, mouthing the shape of the words against Dokja's lips, “I can look up, and see those stars, and remember you’re alive.
Amazing writing. The od hallucinations were so beautifully written like aghh so perfect and the ending was so sweet.

Summary
Over the years, Yoo Joonghyuk has taken more injuries than his body knows what to do with. They haunt his dreams, leave him sleepless and aching.
Lucky for him, a certain squid knows how to help.
Or: a lesson in tea, touch, and warmth.

Bookmarker's Notes
Kim Dokja moved his thumbs in slow, repetitive circles, gentle as he warmed up his hand, before pressing deeper into the hard tissue of his palm.
“The tea. You're using it for the heat, aren't you?”
Yoo Joonghyuk nodded briefly.
And before Yoo Joonghyuk could open his eyes, Kim Dokja brought their joined hands to his mouth and blew a slow breath into them—a hot, steady stream of air trapped between skin. It was something people did outside on a cold winter night, and yet, Kim Dokja was here, trying to breathe warmth into Yoo Joonghyuk's hands.
He cracked his eyes open to watch what he was doing.
It didn't really help. His hands still hurt. But as Kim Dokja blew into them again, massaging each stiff finger, he thought that maybe, like this, he could forget about the pain.

Bookmarker's Notes
"Use lie detection if you want to," Yoo Joonghyuk whispered, getting closer to Kim Dokja's face. "I like you, so much."
[Lie Detection has confirmed the statement to be the truth.]
Kim Dokja opened his mouth to say something but his hesitation made him close it.
"Go ahead."
Kim Dokja bit his lips. "Is it okay?"
The corner of Yoo Joonghyuk's lips curved upwards. "It's perfectly okay."
"...really?"
He's so cute. Yoo Joonghyuk's smile became more apparent. "Really."

Summary
He wonders if he should have said something. Maybe if he had confessed before they started dating things would be different.
Maybe if he had said something that night when Junghyeok told him about the engagement.
Would he have called the engagement off if Dokja had asked him to?
It was far too late to find out anymore.
______________________Dokja knew it was time to bury his feelings for Junghyeok the moment he heard about his engagement with Lee Seolhwa—but when things don't go as planned—maybe a new opportunity might blossom.
A story of heartache and love told with the help of songs.Bookmarked by 381042

Bookmarker's Notes
He froze as he made eye contact with Dokja, his eyes glowed even now when the room was dark. The smile on his face—though teasing— had Junghyeok's heart rise. The sound of his laugh was almost like music to his ears.
Key word: almost.
“I didn think de sunfish bastad would asually carry me” Dokja’s words were slurred, giggling through almost every word.
Junghyeok furrowed his eyebrows and, once close enough, let Dokja fall on the bed unceremoniously.
“Ack- You ass!” Dokja crossed his arms and, with an adorable pout—ahem— a pout, he turned his head away from Junghyeok. He mumbled curses under his breath.

Summary
“Okay.”
Han Sooyoung decides she wants to resign from this temporary consultant job and just get done with it. “So you killed him, a confession,” her hand moves to show a point on her left and then slowly moves to her right to emphasize another point. “And you volunteer to regress, a reply.”
A firm nod came as a response. Han Sooyoung’s eyebrow went up from the unexpected obedience, still it does not make her lower her guard. She knows that the idiocy of a man who has lived thousand lives and decided to pick a certain part of his life just to justify his requited crush will not stop at that. She then challenges the man to fulfill her expectation. “You think you can get married just like that?”

Bookmarker's Notes
Kim Dokja also doesn’t realize that he has spent the past few seconds, pointing sword and all, with eyes closed. When he hears nothing in response, he opens his eyes bit by bit only to discover Yoo Joonghyuk is kneeling down in front of him with an opened box of ring.
“What the f-?”
And bless Uriel for walking in that certain point of time.
***
Kim Dokja thinks.
His death during the Demon King Selection has now become the second most embarrassing moment in his life ever. The first most embarrassing one? His wedding proposal.
