"Can I–" Yuji scratched his neck, the words dying in his mouth. "Would you… Mind giving me your notes?"
Dreaming wasn't a crime, but maybe it should be for Itadori Yuji, who took it way too far.
Or, Yuji is a high school student by day, a part-time superhero at night, and a fully employed fool. Thankfully, Megumi had always liked that side of him.

"Wanna bet?" The prick grabbed Megumi's wrist and pulled him closer. The thoughts of peaceful resolution had vanished, and the guy had exactly three seconds of consciousness left before Megumi's fist bashed his empty head in. "Just don't feel too bad for him afterwards. I can–"
His words turned into a gurgle as a jet of water burst into his face. The stream pinned him even as he stumbled back, choking, using Megumi's book as a shield.
Then, the water stopped. Megumi stepped back, wiping the mist off his cheek, and whipped his head toward the source.
"The fuck?" The guy coughed up water and shouted, "What's wrong with you, asshole?"
Itadori pressed the trigger again, but the water gun hissed empty. "My bad, I missed."
Or, the first years get sent on a secret mission to Okinawa. Megumi tries, and fails, to act normal around his boyfriend. (aka, the JJK Beach Episode: Itafushi Edition)

Megumi ends up falling asleep on the couch. His brows are relaxed, lips slightly parted, and in sleep his face is soft and—so young. Nanami takes off his glasses, polishes them on the edge of his shirt.
They are still so young. They know nothing of the world yet.
He retrieves a blanket from the cupboard and gently drapes it over him.

Look. Megumi isn't a mom friend, alright? He's "emo". "Bad boy". His cursed technique is shadows; of all people, Megumi is the furthest from being a proper parental substitute, much less one to a group of emotionally stunted teenagers fighting eldritch horrors on a daily basis (under the supervision of one very immature teacher). That's not to add that he's the youngest in the entire school; how Megumi became the most responsible person in the place, he really doesn't know.
But someone has to try and take care of the idiots around here and it sure as hell isn't going to be Gojo Satoru of all people, so Megumi might as well do his best. Whatever that may be.
