It was supposed to just be some stupid media thing. Marc had seriously considered faking an illness or purposefully breaking a bone just to get out of it. Álex had talked him out of it, although he wasn't too pleased about the situation either. But Marc had to play the angel; his reputation at Ducati was still too weak. Besides, he did quite like Pecco, so maybe he was partly doing it for him. Or, perhaps, he wanted to see how everything would go down.
