Derek.” He closes his eyes, trying to breathe correctly. “Where is this coming from?” Derek opens his mouth, but Stiles isn’t done. “We’ve been together for five years, not once you expressed that you might be polyamorous. Not even once. So, you, asking out of the blue to open our relationship, doesn’t make much sense.”

“I don’t like doing this,” Aizawa says softly, convincingly. “I hate to. But it’s what has to be done. You understand, yes? You’ll be stronger if you get through this.”
