Wilburs pupils were dilated to the point you couldn't see his red iris anymore. "It's okay sunshine, I'm here, it's okay." Wilbur murmured, planting messy kisses on Tommy's golden curls.
"Wilby, m' cold" Tommy complained, curling closer to his older brother.
"Go to sleep dove, I'll be here for you when you wake up." Wilbur smiled, holding Tommy's hand.
"Okay." Tommy whispered, before falling asleep tangled with Wilbur.
"Hey mate, planning on getting up any time soon?" Phil asked, amused, as he leaned on the door frame.
"No," Wilbur replied, eyes glued on Tommy.

Summary
In one universe, Techno manages to snag a Totem of Undying, send a pickaxe through Quackity’s left jaw, and flee victoriously with Phil laughing in the background.
In another universe, Techno is not so lucky. He has no choice but to kneel there in a tiny cage, helpless to spare his mentor from watching the anvil tumble downward and turn him into a bloody pancake, leaving him to respawn back at base, item-less and horse-less.
This universe is neither of those. Not only does Techno manage to stay true to his ‘never die’ mantra, Phil is even given a little help committing a minor crime of his own by breaking out of his house arrest right after the Butcher Army pulls the fateful lever.
And it’s all thanks to… a guy in a red hoodie?

L’Manberg was gone. Tommy had nothing left. He lost his relationship with Technoblade. Wilbur was dead, Phil viewed him as a traitor. Tubbo and him were strained, to say the least.
And he’s tired. God, he’s so tired, and all he wants to do is rest, finally be free of all the burdens he carried constantly.
The weight of the world is a lot to put on a 16-year-olds shoulders.
