In the months following the Upheaval, Link and Zelda are having a well deserved vacation.
They get an invitation to Sidon and Yona's wedding, but on the way, they get separated.
Once Zelda realizes Link is long gone, she frantically gets to the Domain, albeit having missed the wedding, terrified and in tatterers.
Meanwhile, Link is trapped in a Hyrule long forgotten.
