Summary
At the edge of the world, they fight the impossible fight and lost.
But the gods will not allow the world to fall; and so, they draw a miracle, and send one of their champions back in time.
It all falls apart from there.
(After the travelers fail the final battle, Temenos is sent back in time to fight for the dawn, once more. What he did not know, is that nothing will go how he wishes it to.)
