It was uncertainty. The touching, the longing looks that were hidden beneath the surface of two dunes. Sometimes, you could see the movement beneath the sand, trailing upwards and nearly erupting out of the top. It never did, and although unseen, Daniel felt it. He couldn’t help feeling it wasn’t so much uncertainty.
Johnny couldn’t help but feel the same way. He wasn’t like Daniel, however. He couldn’t control what splurged from the sand, or rather, himself.
