Summary
First Earth is at war with Third Earth, and just about
everyone else. It stems from a slight disagreement: First Earth wants to take over
the other worlds because they need resources and new people, and, well, the
others don’t like that idea. A minor misunderstanding, but one that underlies many
of the character’s motivations.
There are four main players in this game: the Xantharian government, the
Coalition, a young boy, and a woman. Several others make an appearance in this
story, but they don’t have quite the driving force the main four have. -

Summary
It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be a stranger to the touch of the law.
In taking a catalog of Artemis Fowl II’s few professional mistakes, one finds his decision to let the Chicago courts sort out the matter of Jon Spiro. In taking a catalog of Spiro’s professional mistakes, one finds his decision to cross paths with Artemis Fowl. In taking a catalog of Artemis Fowl I’s myriad professional mistakes, one finds his decision to pursue business with Fission Chips.
Depending on one’s perspective, the ensuing debacle could be considered almost comedic.
