Angeli e demoni vivono in armonia da millenni, dominatori delle forze aeree e delle tempeste, nati con le ali a tale proposito. Le regole sono semplici: nessuna delle due fazioni deve sopraffare sull'altra.
A intuire un'imminente fine del mondo è Sam, demone dallo stile appariscente, amante dell'alcool e con non pochi vizi per il lusso, la musica degenerata e l'acqua in lattina. Un giorno come tanti, infatti, tra i mostri puzzolenti con cui ha continuamente a che fare, incappa non volutamente in una conversazione tra capi che sarebbe dovuta rimanere segreta, specialmente a una come lei.
Dopo il malcapitato evento, ad una festa rincontra Michelle, angelo dai modi serafici e vittima del proprio ordine compulsivo di disporre i vestiti nell'armadio, sua unica amica. Sarà a lei che Sam racconterà dei propri dubbi e alle due non resterà altro che impedire una totale catastrofe.
Sempre che rimangano ancora d'accordo...

Summary
This is the story of how Aziraphale and Crowley inadvertently end the war between Heaven and Hell. The story of how they – indirectly, at least – avert the Apocalypse is in there, too, but I suspect you already know that one.
If pressed and in an uncharacteristically honest mood, Crowley would have to admit he’d fallen for Aziraphale in the Garden of Eden.
Things were not so straightforward for Aziraphale, who spent six millennia trying to ignore his growing fondness for the demon. He supposed the first time he’d felt drawn to Crowley would have been in Rome, eight years after the death of Christ. And what had he done? Invited him to lunch.
It was no wonder, really, that he kissed him two thousand years later. How else was one to respond when one’s hereditary enemy saved one’s life and one’s books?
5945 years after they meet, Crowley and Aziraphale confess their love for one another. They certainly aren’t going to let anything get in the way, no matter what Heaven and Hell throw at them.

His wings spread out behind him, gently swayed by the wind. Adam and Eve were in the Garden, where everything was green and safe, and the desert had the beasts and nothingness. Just how it should be.

Azrafell is a rather peculiar demon and for reasons they can’t explain the angel Raquiel now going by the name Crowley seems to fancy them. To make matters worse Azrafell keeps getting commendations despite screwing up most of their missions. The demon just wants to be left in peace in his curiosity shop with his precious treasures and not get into trouble, but it seems the Almighty has other plans for the poor demon. They’re in love your honor! They have no plan. They’re just doing their best to roll with the punches in this one.
