No one listens to the grey, maybe it wasn’t invented back then, maybe they didn’t care enough to have someone be neutral. It was all sides, this is the case here. Here in the school of good and evil you will be assigned to a category and you will train in it. Either to become the knight in shining armor or the villain that everyone despises.
In a small town called Echocraft lived two friends. Branzy and Rek, everyone knew how opposite they were except themselves.
They we’re both very, very charming. Although this fairytale won’t have a happy ending, not all of them do. In fact some are changed for children to read and base their lives on. Not this one, this one will stay real, this one will stay in the history of fairytales forever. So come on now and listen to their story but reader beware, this won’t have a happy ending.

Summary
The world was scary, when you ran out of lives well, that was it wasn’t it.
It was a better chance than just one perhaps, but for simeone like Branzy, that didn’t really mean anything. So he knew that the closer he got to it, he should make sure everything was in order. Just in case.
And plus, he was very picky about what flowers should be planted above his grave!

I wanted to write some angst based on a single paragraphs in one of my other fics (I’ll put it in the notes) and because I love sobbing I made it into a oneshot!! (It’s based on leave your doubt at the door but the au is not the same and since that one is gonna have a good ending I wanted to write angst- Clown’s still got a non see through mask tho)

Summary
The Hemlocke Report, as it currently stands, exists as a collection of journal entries, wax cylinder recordings, newspaper clippings, photographs, silent film reels, and police reports taken in the city of Emberton, Hale, between 1914 and 1917 in the historic Whitepine estate. The report was compiled in full in 1926, nearly ten years after the final expedition, by the report’s subject, Sir Pyroscythe Hemlocke, after a neurotic break prompted extensive work with a psychotherapist, who encouraged him to formalize the recordings taken during that period. Once compiled, the report remained in storage until 1979, when it was discovered by Sir Hemlocke’s great-niece, R████████ Hemlocke-Caine, while clearing out the estate after his death. All recordings and reports were digitized and put to film, and released as a documentary under █████████ Films in 1981.
Y'know hit cult classic novel House of Leaves and it's pseudo-academic, generally weird as hell format? Y'know how something in the Whitepine Estate isn't quite right? Y'know how the grand tradition of the katabasis has persisted in the popular imagination for centuries? Yeah. Yeah.
