In Gotham, there is a sinkhole that has been there since 1910. Most see it as the former site of the suspicious, enigmatic hospital known as The St. Metamorpho Hospital fire. A hospital named after a nonexistent Saint, a cruel and unfeeling staff that never explained why they did the things they did, and horrifying rumors of flesh within the walls. But this is only the tip of the iceberg.
The Hospital was merely a lure. A practiced, engineered one that emerged from millions of years of experience. Constructed by an alien species that had been there since the time of the dinosaurs. A species whose source of sustenance was the very genetic code of other animals. Their technology as fleshy as they are. And they didn't die in the fire of 1910, they are sleeping. Waiting. They are the Transmogrifants.

He is paired together with Red, an abrasive yet attractive demon with whom Andre must learn to work together in order to pass the program and avoid being sent to a real prison. Things get strange, however, as individual inmates start disappearing, and it may just fall on Andre and Red to figure out why.
