Summary
He took another train from the station to get to the street where he was supposed to live. Looking around, it was not something he'd see in his hometown; there weren't many apartments there, after all. He heads to the one that matches the address his father sent, and to his surprise, it was a house instead. It was quite modern with flower pots outside the door on both sides, neither seemed to be in use, however. With his heart racing quite a bit, he knocked on the door. Quietly, he straightened himself out, waiting before he heard the door unlock. The door opened as a woman with grey hair and a serious face answered.
"Good morning," Sae Niijima said.------------------------------------
A fic where Ren has a sibling and lives with Akechi, Makoto, and Sae!

“Do you remember our first kiss?” she asks, her fingers tracing over the lines of my back.
“Yes,” I tell her, because she asked me a direct question and I have no choice but to tell her what she wants to hear. This time when she pinches me, it’s not with her fingers, but with her augments. It’s a reprimand that tells me my answer wasn’t enough. “It was our third date,” I recite. I have a memory of a kiss in my archives that I’m not allowed to delete, though I don't know if that was actually our first kiss or not. The memory of that kiss forms the basis of the story I’m telling now.

I am using a site skin on my site and this hasn't broken yet so fingers crossed for you all if you have any errors just lmk and i will try to fix them A truly unreasonable amount of HTML went into this, so please enjoy <3
This fic has been living in my brain ever since I wrote Last Call and my other House M.D. fics. It’s kind of a love letter to that whole “story told through fragments” thing (emails, notes, forms, things people keep and things they forget to throw away)
This may get sad. I’m serious. I have two different endings planned and one of them is… not great for anyone involved. I’ll update tags if/when we get there. ignore how funky and long the nokia is it did not look like that until i figured out stupid fucking ao3's rich text button does not actually render a proper preview and my whole code broke in actual preview including this super cool unfolding animation i had for an interactive feature im srrryy guysss anyways!!! if anyone has html tips pls send them my way i am a veteran coder for JavaScript and Python not cracked ao3 fics so im sorry
Anyway. Enough background rambling.

There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide
It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time to update.
The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.
There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)
Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.

Katara overshares on the internet. Zuko makes it a point to only lurk. Good thing there's nothing tying their online adventures to their real lives—right?
Or, Katara and Zuko have something of a history, and when they reconnect after months of silence, there could be more going on behind the scenes than they realize.

Explains:
● how to make a work skin;
● how to view fics' work skin rules;
● how to colorize text and circle words and highlight backgrounds (examples in head-note), and change and resize your fonts;
● how to turn all links blue-underscore automatically;
● the CSS code for diacritics to render properly, e.g.: “ầ” & “ồ” (with diacritics not superimposed), or “ị” (with underdot directly beneath, not kerned to the left), without breaking words such as “gầu” or “vịt” (using a monotype font for these letters would create gaps to each side of the ầ or the ị). Head-note has corrected examples;
● Site Skin addenda to block / shrink tags, and block authors / works;
● even a quick way (code included) to simply make a Site Skin so that you can read everything in your font of preference!Full code is included.
I read, appreciate, and reply to all of your comments — they're always welcome!
