It is not the place she anticipated ending up, working alongside such an irascible crew, but it is a place. There is a justification for her existence.
One polar bear in a helicopter she gunned down that is brought in alive later, Meri begins to recognise the extent to which the Dreadnoughts will go to achieve wealth, and how this extent is infinitely further than her own. Now, the polar bear, Barnabas, may be her best chance of escape.

This is going to be a very graphic story. I want to dive into the war, choices we make, & how they affect someone's psychology/their sense of self. There will be angst. There will be smut. There will probably be tears. I’ve had MANY people ask if this is going to be HEA. I haven't decided on an ending yet so I can't promise it will be HEA (altho I am leaning toward a realistic ever after). HEA is subjective & means different things to different people, so I have settled on these HEA tags for now. I’ll update tags accordingly as we go if it changes.
