Everything was a mesh of ringing noises and blurred vision. He was stumbling around, completely hazy from his lost senses and blindly reaching around the forest to get some sense of direction. Suddenly Lance was shoved out of the way. His body went skidding a few feet, a blast barely missing him. Looking up, however, he wished it hadn’t missed.
