Summary
You died at sixteen and woke up on a lab table with no memory of it. Your father, Dottore, says you’re “lucky to be alive,” and if the scars don’t line up and the file labeled SUBJECT M-02 is always locked, that’s none of your business. You have work to do when you aren’t at school, cleaning up Dottore’s experiments, learning how to smile through the smell of blood in the walls.
Then you meet the Balladeer.
Scaramouche is everything you shouldn’t want: a weapon wearing a human face, a Fatui Harbinger who hates your father more than anyone else in Teyvat. He sees Dottore’s daughter, his perfect leverage, and decides to make you fall in love with him, just long enough to put a knife in the right back. It should be simple. Except you’re not as human as you think, and Scaramouche isn’t as heartless as he swears he is.

Summary
Your life is as ‘normal’ as it can be with a dad like Dottore and identical twin neighbors you’ve known since childhood.
Scaramouche and Kunikuzushi.
One evil and one you don’t have words for.Scara is the loud one, extroverted but also the school’s biggest bully, practically k-drama level violent, and yet he still has a big platform on TikTok. Girls at school fawn over him, saying they can fix him, and he always finds a way to shut them up permanently. He’s your boyfriend, and a loyal one.
Kuni is the opposite of Scara: the school’s golden boy with perfect grades, a perfect smile, future valedictorian, and the most popular boy in school. Everyone calls him the good twin, the better twin. Nobody notices how Kuni’s worse than Scara because he hides it well.
Something odd happened at 16. You don’t remember much of that year. All you remember is waking up on a medical table with your father saying you fell into a coma and everything’s ‘fixed’ now.
This is as normal as your life gets: being the scientist’s daughter who doesn’t stay dead, your mean boyfriend everyone calls a monster, and his ‘perfect’ twin who might actually be one.
