With the release of Ridibooks Season's Greetings I wrote a little college au of Taekjoo and Zhenya!
Zhenya had not been this entertained in some time. Usually, he’d wait patiently for his prey to fall into a trap, but for once, he was a little too eager.
After all, freedom was only the separation between the two, the time it took moving from life to death, from well-put-together to shattered-in-pieces, that distance between the hunter and the hunted. Zhenya wanted to close the distance, but that space was the best part; he’d savor its shrinking distance as he’d move closer, playing Taekjoo like his double bass, coaxing him with calloused fingertips before pulling strings tight, forcing him to bend until he’d make sweet, beautiful sounds, pliant, willing, and waiting. He would relish breaking in this new toy.

Zhenya closed the distance, nose brushing along Taekjoo’s gloved thumb as he closed his eyes at the small amount of affection. It was rare. And he wanted to savor it before it was gone. His hand caressed Taekjoo’s as it tried to slip away. He wouldn’t let it.“What are we betting?” Zhenya murmured, not wanting to spook Taekjoo. He wanted to hold him for just a moment longer, unable to watch him run away.
Taekjoo huffed, eyes challenging. “A wish. Winner gets anything he wants.”
