The world was over. What do you do when that happens, and you find yourself on a deserted tropical island? Your prospects are bleak — no matter how pleasant the surroundings — when it all boils down to a universal variant of thermodynamics and poker: you can't go home, you can't start again, and you're functionally immortal.
Prior military life had prepared Sonic for just about everything. It hadn't prepared him for nothing, and there was a lot of nothing in this quiet place. At least until a Deku Scrub came into his life and forced him to face the world again — to face himself again.
His nemesis was still out there, somewhere. It could only be a matter of time before this world, too, would meet its end.

Summary
With Sonic, Tails, and Ruru by her side, Zelda seeks to wrest control of the world back from the clutches of Warbotdorf in a Belgariad-like adventure (all the while trading quips after the fashion of The Princess Bride or Another Fine Myth), but the task is made all the more difficult when a seeming innocent stumbles into her life.
Her heart grown cold from nearly a decade of battle and betrayal, Zelda finds Peach, a caring soul — but she also knows that evil lives to present the face of innocence while seeking the ruination of all. In a world where a narcissist has taken control of the empire, can love find its way into the heart of the imperial princess?
Fighting the bad guy was one thing, but to fight her own heart as well would sap the last of her strength.

NB: This is a warm-fuzzy story to do with homeless cats, found family, and Princess Peach and the rest of the Scooby Gang. I've never played Fallout, and had no idea that the game had a monster called a “deathclaw” until uploading this story and someone commented about them in a Facebook thread.

Summary
A world-shattering threat looms in the murk of the immediate future, and on its heels comes a cure worse than the symptoms. Given free rein, The Obelisk would unleash a literal hell of Cenobites on all life — and given free rein, Daemon would stop at nothing to prevent this.
Beneath all of this, greater powers still than they make moves on the chess board of reality itself, exchanging not only pieces, but the significance and even “sides” thereof.
Embarking on a mission to stop all of this, our heroes — Sonic, Tails, Zelda, Peach, and Ruru — brave the teeth of the Dagurashibanipal mountain range once more, in search of a way to prevent the wheel of fortune grinding down all that they know.

Summary
Tails the Fox and Amy [Wong] (an AI) were long star-crossed, lost to each other for over a decade of his life, though only a blink of the eye in her discontinuous existence. Reunited of late through the magnanimity of a god-like being, they began their life together again, and Tails designed a variant liquid Terminator body for Amy (at her request) soon thereafter (fear not: he's more Doctor Who than Doctor Doom). A few months into their adjustment period, we join them now in quieter moments to see what things are like when they're not busy fighting dragons and saving the world.
“Dimidium” is intended to look at a slice of life, presented as a set of vignettes. They don't tell a continuous story as such, instead filling in the flavor of things in the between moments.

Summary
Sonic remembers another life, and unlike so many of his other lives, this was one in which he had known Zelda. Taking on Doctor Evil's phlogiston was only part of the problem. It hurts, and it keeps coming back to him. He doesn't want it, but he has to share this memory with the rest of the Scooby Gang.
NB 1: 6562 present Light World (2259 Earth date), 2048 past-Earth.
NB 2: There are some relationship “complications” that come up here, and I've chosen not to tag for them for spoiler reasons. They're not Archive Warning things, just in-fic relationships that have been established and see some backstory come up now. If you haven't read any of the earlier stories in this series, this might seem utterly discordant without sufficient context.

Count Duckula was visiting the tiny village-nation (it's both ) of Microsylvania, Cravenloft, in hope of restoring his nerves, only to discover the terrifying truth of their cottage industry. Our intrepid heroes, suddenly discovering themselves on an unexpected vacation (partly explained in the omake), find themselves embroiled in the local drama and intrigue and soon arrive on the doorstep of a campy Gothic castle, complete with strange servants — one of whom hopes to go bump in Zelda's night.N.B.: Though not directly spurred by it for the story herein (10th in the series), I must acknowledge a deep gratitude for the inspirational atmosphere of Robert Lynn Asprin's Myth-ing Persons in his portrayal of the Limbo “dimension” (and I suspect a dash of the Winslow vacation resort in Myth-fits).

Summary
Drawn into a phantom world, Sonic, Tails, Peach, Zelda, and Ruru — with some help from a couple of furry little friends (Bolt and Mittens) — must discover the secret of this puzzling place and save the kidnapped Amy from a forced marriage.
Offline story's completely written; uploading next two chapters on next two Sundays.
I was tempted to title this Chasing Amy, aptly enough (to those familiar with this fic series), but it would have been too misleading (this fic not being related to any View Askew material, much though I loved their work through '06 [their later stuff might be great, it's just that after that I lost touch with some old favorite things, for “reasons”]).
Also, if you're hoping to see level 15 Hedgehog style MMA in action: this is the one, you've found it (Sonic's fight scene's very graphic violence [and his foul language throughout the fic] rate this a firm R, or at least a strong PG-13).
