    I’m so glad to hear it was worth the wait, and that there were parts that resonated! I’m a massive advocate for giving ourselves and each other a bit of grace, in all aspects of life - if there’s one thing we all do well, it’s making mistakes 🥹.

    Oh my god the cello being the closest to the human voice is so beautiful! Chuuya’s inability to write/play authentically whilst he was grieving would definitely link to that, he never allowed himself to express his true grief or used his own voice in that way and his music suffered for it. That’s seriously so so interesting, thank you so much for sharing!!

    I’m also relieved to hear you liked the characterisation! It’s the first AU I’ve written so I was worried about finding the balance when the contexts were so different — your comment has given me so much joy and confidence to keep exploring other universes with them 🥰
