    I adored this story!! I loved Dazai taking Chuuya around different cities and showing him how fun music can be again, stories about just living are my favorite. I laughed every time Chuuya thought about Dazai kitten-licking the ice cream, and Dazai's escapade getting the sheep plush was probably my favorite scene. That ending was also so heartwarming I was crying by the end. The black paper cranes were also a nice gesture

    “Fucking sit down— people are staring,” Chuuya hissed, livid that even drunk, he was still helpless to his stupid mackerel’s dumb sense of humour. The whole thing was mortifying.
    ^^ This scene was so cute, Dazai's such an embarrassment. I laughed at how absolutely delighted he was that Chuuya admitted he was 'tolerable' and how utterly fond Chuuya was despite himself.

      I am so so glad you enjoyed it, the idea of Dazai and Chuuya being thrown into a trip together straight off the bat was so funny to me 😂, I like that you loved the kitten licks (he’s an actual cat I love him so much 😭), and the plushie and cranes — I wanted Dazai to have the courage for these little gestures to offset the guilt of lying to Chuu
