    I love the brutality of it, how frantic wolfwood is, but also how calm he is on the inside. What he's called or what those men think of him doesn't matter, he just wants vash safe. He's willing to risk himself for it, no matter what vash thinks of him After

    There's a dark vindication to have men who underestimated both vash and wolfwood, who are ao confident and smug about their power over the two of them, learn quickly that they're acting too big for their britches. Vash isn't even fighting back, wolfwood is tied up, and they outnumber them. It's pathetic and it makes the comeuppance all the more satisfying

    The way vash so tenderly wiped the blood away from wolfwoods face and told him he was nothing like what the man called him is. It's everything

    It's not approval for what he's done. Because he'd never approve. But the absence of his scolding speaks for his feelings for wolfwood and what exactly he thought of the guy who called wolfwood names. -chef's kiss-
