Summary
Nine bearers of the Hero's Spirit once went on an adventure together. At the end of their natural lives, eight of them were reunited in the goddess's eternal Hall of Heroes. Nothing so trivial as their own deaths would stop them from finding out why one of their number was missing.
In other words: "Warriors isn't canon."

Summary
Sylvain can't handle it. If he loses this bet to Lorenz of all people, he may as well lay on the floor and succumb to letting moss grow on him. His reputation wouldn't be able to take the hit if people thought Lorenz Hellman Gloucester was a better flirt.
There's only one thing he can do here:
He goes to Dimitri and asks him to fake a date with him.
This will definitely not have any unintended consequences whatsoever.

Bookmarker's Notes
"You," Dimitri growls, only to pause, still glaring. The thoughts that churn in his head are a mystery to Sylvain, with everything far too dark for him to see clearly. Not in a literal sense, those that cover half of Dimitri's face, but a more personal one. "...This should have been said a long time ago, I see."
Uh oh. Sylvain fights the urge to tense up. "What should have been said?"
A harsh exhale from Dimitri's nose, and he surveys Sylvain for a moment longer. "...I wish to break up."
What.
The words don't register in Sylvain's brain for a moment, with how outrageous they are, how he was inspecting possibly anything but that. When they finally do register, he wheezes in a sound that doesn't even sound human, before the laughter bursts out of him like a pastry exploding out of an oven. "That's what you wanted to say to me!?" he hacks out, inbetween all the laughter that has him doubling over. Dimitri is staring at him; that's all Sylvain can really tell from all the tears of hysterical laughter. "What - wait - were we even - oh saints - I didn't know you thought of us as still dating!?"
It's refreshing to see the consequences after the time skip.

Summary
“You are going to hear a lot of terrible things about me. Most of it is going to be true.”
Being the hero who saved Hyrule from a bloody war was a thankless job that left Warriors with more regrets than he cared to remember. He only started to heal after meeting his fellow heroes from across time and joining them on their quest to defeat the black-blooded monsters.
But when his time-hopping journey takes him back home, he finds his kingdom on the brink of war once more. This war threatens to ensnare not only Warriors, but his newfound family as well.
Warriors will do whatever it takes to keep them safe, even if that means becoming a traitor to the kingdom he gave up everything to save. But the harder Warriors works to protect his family, the more the secrets of his dark past come to life. Who is Captain Link Walton, the Hero of Warriors? What happened to the two other heroes he had once fought alongside all those years ago?
When this is over, will Warriors even have a family left to save or is he doomed to repeat his past mistakes?
(Once, there were three brothers: the captain, the engineer, and the child. Their story did not have a happy ending.)

Bookmarker's Notes
It made Warriors grimace. That Wind was right, or nonetheless called him out on it, didn’t bother him. It was that Wind didn’t sound betrayed. Actually, none of the boys seemed surprised. They expected this. His bullshit was boring.
Warriors' complex character, worldbuilding, writing, this fic is amazing. Ganondorf was a great twist and surprisingly the most well adjusted of the family. He's my favorite whenever he shows up.
