Billy was doing what he did every morning around 5 a.m., which was delivering newspapers. Griffin was fast asleep, and Bruce was watching a movie about one of his favorite baseball players. Vance was also fast asleep. Robin was passed out on his couch.
Suddenly, a flash of light hit them, and they were transported into a random room. Billy and Bruce ended up passing out from the flash while everyone else who was already asleep stayed asleep.

Finney Blake, could feel blood dripping down his hands.
It was sticky and warm, and there was so much.
“Finn.” Robin’s voice broke through the static that had surrounded his ears.
He looked up, and he could see that Robin’s face was covered in dirt and small scratches and that his lip was busted, a hand came to clamp around his own blood-soaked ones. Robin's hand was warm as well. He met Robin’s eyes, and the boy’s grip on his hands tightened.
“We’re going to be okay.”
Robin squeezed his hands again.
“I promise.”
He could see Vance and Bruce behind him, tired, exhausted and covered in even more blood and dirt then Robin was, but they were smiling and if he tilted his head, he could see that Griffin was supporting Billy so the boy could stand upwards, they were soaking wet, bleeding and looked like they had gone to hell and back, but they were laughing.
He looked back at Robin.
They’re okay.
They were going to be okay.
