Summary
In the aftermath of their final bout with Gerard, things kinda went to shit. Yeah, they won. But Scott had violated some major boundaries. Jackson was still an emotionally constipated douche. Erica and Boyd were missing. In general, everyone was left missing a piece of themselves in one form or another. There was also the fact that there was a literal pack of alphas bearing down on them. Stiles was really getting sick of this shit.

“God you’re beautiful.”
Derek hadn’t even realized that the words had left his mouth until the whole room went silent, including Stiles, who until about five seconds earlier was busy yelling at him for putting himself in danger yet again.

Summary
The pack was still speaking to one another in hushed whispers when the front door opened, cutting off as if they’d only just realized the man had arrived. They were terrible Werewolves.
Footsteps sounded behind him as the sheriff approached, and Derek could hear the fondness in his voice when he spoke.
“You guys having a party in here?”
Derek turned from his position by the doorway, the sheriff coming closer to see into the living room. The man froze at the sight of him, one hand doing a weird jerking motion beside his gun before he seemed to get himself under control. It occurred to Derek that the sheriff had almost grabbed his gun because he didn’t recognize him.

Summary
Stiles sweeps back the generous swath of multicoloured fabrics that are serving as some sort of curtain, hung over the doorway of what appears to be a fortune teller’s wagon, complete with a bright green roof.
“Waste of money. They’re all con artists,” Derek warns him cynically, putting his heavy booted foot on the lowest ladder rung, despite his words. The background noise of overly jubilant fairground music makes him have to raise his voice a little for Stiles to hear him. The step groans precariously. “You said we could go straight home after the haunted house.”
“Dude! Don’t you want to know what your future holds?” Stiles asks Derek seriously.
Derek gives him a hard look, eyebrows raised.
“Ok. Well yeah, fair point. I mean, it’s you, so your future probably holds lots of blood, death and gore, if your present and past are anything to go by. But hey ho, you never know! Things might be looking up for you,” Stiles grins brightly at him.

Summary
Kissing Stiles is like a breeze through an open window that chases away a smell of fire that never leaves. The first time he tastes surprised and says, Holy shit while his fingers find lips that probably sting a little from Derek’s stubble. It makes Derek laugh and Stiles’ eyes go wide and pleased as if that’s a bigger surprise than the kiss.

set about 5 years in the future, for a prompt from kalpurna: Stiles wakes up in Derek’s bed in a world where they’re married now, and Derek keeps leaving the room every time he tries to have a conversation about how this happened, since they weren’t even dating. Betaed by giddygeek.
