When he opens them again, the hand is already gone and Kokichi is halfway out the door, gaze distant, fixed ahead. “Later,” he says, tone even and carefully void of emotion. “We can talk later. I need a drink first,” he mutters the second part to himself, stalking out of the bathroom before Shuichi can so much as blink, pinching himself to make sure that he hadn’t just hallucinated Kokichi Ouma swaddled in his flamboyant suit, eating Kaito and Maki’s chocolate in the middle of their wedding party, tucked away in a bathtub without so much as bothering to take off his shoes.
On the 19th of June, Shuichi Saihara attends the wedding of his best friends Kaito Momota and Maki Harukawa.
