theres a looot of variations of “it’s not x it’s y” and “[for the first time] severus doesn’t feel like x. he feels y”
Like it’s not terrible it just loses its oomph after seing it 7 times in a single chapter. there’s also a lotta first times for severus. there are other ways to convey that it’s severus first time being X without SAYING it’s his first time being X
anyway i do like the premise and theres some pretty metal shit
like bruh a werewolf stuck mid transformation & having to constantly deal with the amnesia that comes with transforming is a horrifying concept & it’s metal as fuck
also Nico’s everything. her work, her personality, her implied lore. metal. nuff said -

An attempt at a SI-fic with a character not quite lucky enough to be given easy access to the main cast. Sporting a fresh case of “amnesia” and a disgustingly overpowered cursed technique to balance out his ineptitude, the casual fan who’s replaced Naoya Zen’in has enough on his plate without having to muddle through clan politics and the social repercussions of incarnating as such an utter bastard. It’s going to be really hard to save the world and not die when he’s barely involved in the original plot … and when he never even finished the damn manga.
Maybe he’s only half-lying when he says he doesn’t remember anything.
