Summary
Apartment 303 was so empty without Troy.
It was too quiet. Too big, with just Abed and Annie to fill the space. He wouldn’t let her touch the little things Troy left behind, scattered on the coffee table and in his room. Abed missed the things that Troy did pack. His clothes, some action figures, his mug--there were only two Troy and Abed in the Morning mugs in the cabinet, now, when there used to be three. It made Abed sad every time he looked.
It reminded him horribly of when his mom left. He remembered the awful silence, the way his dad looked at him across the dinner table. The vacancy. He remembered everything.
Your fault, whispered Evil Abed. As if Abed needed reminding.

The night air was cool, and Abed shivered a little in his green pajamas. In a movie, he probably wouldn’t be wearing pajamas at all--he’d be wearing a long coat or a cape, something that the wind could make flap behind him as he looked out on the city lights. His city didn’t have any lights, though, just the occasional lamp down the empty streets. At least he had stars. They blinked faintly at him, watching. Always watching.
