What is Underground Spring Books about?
Wei Wuxian wasn't the only one who noticed Lan Wangji's beauty! Hanguang-Jun admirers are hard at work creating an underground network of spring books...and now you can join them! Come create your own Spring Book starring Lan Wangji and admire him the way he deserves.

The concept for this event was born from one of Yuyu_Finale's random tweets, and now after a lot of hard work, we invite creators to celebrate Hanguang-Jun!

When is this event?
This event will take place from March 20-March 28, and our make up period will be from May 15-May 23.

Is this event +18?
Yes. We ask that everyone tag accurately, so everyone can participate.

Do my pieces need to be NSFW?
No! You do not need to create nudes or write sex scenes however the event is +18.

What if I can't finish in time?
There will be a second prompt fest, utilizing the same prompts, starting May 15th. It will follow the same schedule as the March event, and is a makeup fest.

What is the minimum requirement to participate in the event?
Fics must be at least 1k words, and art must be at least a sketch.

What works do you accept?
We are happy to accept all tropes, pairings, and content you would like to create so long as it fits the prompts! Want to write? Perfect! Want to draw? Fantastic! Sculpt? Wonderful! Compose? Delightful! Interpretive dance? Bring it on! We're excited to see what you create!

What About Dead Dove, Gender/Cis swap, Trans works, etc?
Of course! We just ask that you remember to tag your content accordingly! However, we do not allow works featuring minors in a sexual setting.

Do you allow RPF?
As we are celebrating Hanguang-Jun and not Wang Yibo, we will not be accepting real person fiction. That said, you may use the CQL actors' likenesses provided they are portrayed as their MDZS character.

Is this a Wangxian only event?
No, you can create works of Lan Wangji by himself or in any pairing you would like! For example: Wangxian, ZhanCheng, Nie Mingjue/Lan Wangji/Wei Wuxian...etc.

Where can I post my work?
The event will happen on Twitter and AO3. Use the hashtag #UndergroundSpringBooks so we can RT your works, and the AO3 collection.

— This is an 18+ only, NSFW event.
—Participants do not need to register for this event. However, to ensure that your pieces are reblogged or retweeted, there will be a google form for you to fill out.
— All fic submissions should be done through AO3. Art submissions may be made on Twitter or Tumblr with the event tagged, or to the AO3 collection.
— Participants will post their works according to their own timezones, and the correlating prompt day. Please visit our schedule page for a complete list of dates and prompts.
— There is no limit to how many pieces you may post for each prompt.
— Each piece must include either a season, mini prompt, or body prompt. You may include as many of the daily prompts as you would like, but there must be a minimum of one prompt used for that day. If you do not want to include any of the daily prompts provided, please save your work for the free day (the last day).
— If you create a piece for March and miss the posting date, or need a bit more time to finish a piece, there will be an event repeat week in May. Please save these pieces for that week - it will begin May 15th and follow the same schedule as the March event. If you miss posting during the May event, mods will continue to keep an eye out for last-minute staggers for one additional week before officially closing the event for 2023.
— Minimums: Written pieces should be at least 1K words. Drawn works should be at least a sketch. If you would like to participate using another creative outlet (song writing, interpretive dance, gif sets, etc.) we ask that you use your best judgment.
— All ships and dynamics are welcome, provided Hanguang-Jun is included.
— Ships including underage characters in a sexual context are not allowed.
— Event communication will occur on our social media platforms, and there will not be a discord as this is a prompt week.
— We do not endorse hate toward any character, religious belief, or ethnic group.
