Clark’s already shaking his head. “Now, hang on, this is getting a little out of hand. I don’t think pitting each other against one another is the solution -”
“What sort of competition?” Bruce cuts him off.

Clark and Bruce are getting married next week. They’re also going on their honeymoon straight after. This, understandably, has sent all of their children into crisis. Clark isn’t sure how that spirals into all of them playing an overly elaborate game of hide and seek to prove who could get to Clark and Bruce first in the case of an emergency, but if that’s what it takes to reassure them, then who is he to object?

The next few days were filled with Lance informing everyone, multiple times, of their “new” friendship. “We’re friends now, did you hear? Keith and I are friends.” Over and over, big smile, loud voice. Looking between Keith and whoever he was telling like he expected a round of applause. Or confetti. Or a parade. What he usually got was somebody making a crack about bonding moments, which prompted a tight, put-upon sigh on Keith’s end. And Lance would look at him fondly, and Keith would have to bite his cheek to distract himself from how much he wanted Lance to lean over and kiss him.

"Yes, and I'm sure you will too with a little prompting," he said, glaring at Shang Qinghua. "We're dealing with doppelgangers."

Having Shizun so close to him while the day is still young, of course he’s overjoyed, but a part of him can’t help but wonder as to why Shen Qingqiu is behaving this way. Usually, he only acts this sticky at night. Just what could make Shizun act like this now? Not only is it morning, but Luo Binghe has just woken up, so he hasn’t had the time to wear down Shizun’s reservations yet.
Only one reason comes to mind.
Shizun really is trying to spoil me.
