Summary
Red. That was the first thing Subject Two had become aware of. A sickly pulsing red to match the foul energy that permeated his surroundings. He could not tell if the red was in his mind, or reality. Later, he decided it was both. He felt it pulling on him. Taking him away from the all-encompassing nothingness that had become his home. It wasn’t until a while later he became aware of the ground beneath him. Of the feeling of gravity pulling against his body. Of a cold draft against his bare skin despite the ambient warmth. He could feel these things. They were actual sensations, felt by a physical body. But he no longer had a physical body. Durin had long since taken that from him, leaving him to drift in some unknown space beyond the passage of time and comprehension of what remained of his consciousness. A dark and swirling limbo from which he could never escape. Or… evidently he could.

Summary
There was, indeed, a person. Aether stared in horror and wonder at the young man inside the coffin. (It was a coffin; it must have been, given what it contained.) The body looked perfectly preserved. There were no signs of decay or dryness. His clothes were immaculate. It was as if the man was merely sleeping.
“Let's leave,” Paimon said, tugging on Aether's scarf.
“Wait.” Aether leaned over the coffin's edge. This wasn’t normal. This place, the ice, this man… Aether didn’t understand, but he wanted to.
Aether, a fallen star looking for his lost sister, awakens a sleeper in a frozen ruin.

Summary
"What happened with the other?" Slowly bringing his hand up, Diluc tried pushing the matted locks aside, barely moving it to see what appeared to be a wound dressing. "Are you hurt?"
The bluenette flinched involuntarily when the red-haired boy’s fingers grazed ever so slightly against his bangs, towards his hidden eye. He was about to slap away that offending limb when Crepus voiced out.
Or
The early days when Kaeya arrived at the Dawn Winery... which involved a scared Kaeya, trying to escape the Dawn Winery, and a bit of an incident which needed saving. Kaeya's first outlook of Mondstadt, and Crepus and Diluc welcoming the child.

(This is a rewrite of an old story I wrote before, hope you enjoy! It's gotten longer! :'D )
Upon arriving on Tsurumi Island, two adventurers stumble across books from four hundred years ago telling tales that seemed unfamiliar to them. As these stories are uncovered more and more, both begin to realise that something doesn't seem completely right about the world around them.

Summary
They may have become monsters, but not all of them chose to follow the Abyss Order into war. Others chose to save their kingdom another way, through science. This tiny human child, the culmination of years of research, should have shown that they could escape their curse without a war. The Abyss Order disagrees, and young Kaeya finds his life changed in a day.
