You and Adrian get sent on a mission to do recon on a warehouse the team suspects to be a butterfly hideout. As you get further into the warehouse, you both catch the attention of a butterfly, sending the warehouse into chaos. You lose your cool on a butterfly, which leads to Adrian having to take a knife for you.
Btw this is defo not proofread i always lose motivation for that when i'm done 😂😂

For a moment, Chris thinks that it's just like Adrian to leave the room to get undressed, even though Chris has seen him before and they'd be naked together soon enough.
But Adrian isn't naked when Chris turns around. In fact, Adrian isn't there at all. Vigilante is.
"Why'd you get all suited up?" Chris asks. Vigilante isn't armed, but the red visor of the mask is inscrutable, and that nervousness comes back to him full tilt.
"We both have roles we want to play in this," Vigilante says. An admission. A simple statement, as bare as Chris' skin.

Adrian sulks up at him, but he also steps back, and holds the door open in invitation. “You’re not allowed to be mad about this, though. Because it seems like something you’d get mad about, and I don’t want you to be mad.”
Well, if that isn’t ominous as fuck. “Why d’you think I’d be—oh, fuck no!”
From the other side of the living room, arms crossed over his chest, Adrian—another Adrian glowers at Chris. “Fuck you.”
