Summary
Marinette is a small studio dancer who wins a scholarship to a summer long ballet intensive. Adrien is a famous ballet dancer who would rather be at home than at said intensive. The end of the summer will bring about a showcase that could make Marinette's career, if she can ignore Chloé and focus on something other than Adrien.
Sore muscles, coffee breaks, and video chats ensue. And there is an awful lot of fondue.

As soon as Chat’s lips slid over hers, she knows she’s gone.
He tucks her behind the lockers, her back is pressed gently against the wall as he presses searing kisses all over her.
It is a silent agreement. An occurrence that could hardly be classified as rare as she was very very familiar with the way his hands rested on her hips.
Note to self: make costume easier to get out of next time. she thinks as he tugs her jacket from her person.
The cold of the arena nipping at her arms is immediately washed away by the fire that courses through her veins as she shoves her fingertips into his hair.
“Nervous today, my lady?” he murmurs against her jaw.
She tugs teasingly on his hair. “Hardly. Not your lady, by the way.”
“I dunno, kinda looks like you’re mine right now, doesn’t it?” He grins, gliding his nose along the side of hers.
His. It’s a weird thought. In another life, maybe. Maybe she would let herself be his. Maybe they would perform as a pair instead. But not this life.

Marinette is a servant girl in her step family's household. Trapped by her own family, the girl struggles as she goes about her daily life. Meanwhile, Adrien is a Prince feeling just as trapped by the strict rules imposed by his father. While good friends in their down time, Marinette meets Adrien as Chat Noir at the town festival and again meets him when she is Ladybug come the Prince's Coming of Age Ball. They both help each other forget their woes and long for a day they can both have each other's companionship without needing the facade of masks in front of others.

“Oh god, are you okay?” A hand grasped her arm, a sweet male voice washed over her, seemingly relieving the pain she felt.The person helped her from the ground, supporting her weight completely.
Marinette blushed, her eyes locked on the mess of flowers and her art supplies blocking the sidewalk. “Oh no, I’m going to be late.”
The person laughed, finally drawing her eyes. Marinette nearly choked as her eyes locked on the loveliest color of green she had ever seen. Blond, perfectly styled hair fell into his eyes, his lips were curved into the most perfect and warm smile she had ever seen. She suddenly forgot the reason she was rushing.
“No worries,” he was saying. “I’ll help you.”
