Such a realization would startle most people; it’d only cause them to worsen their panic, their desperation. Normally there’s some kind of begging, some kind of mantra of “I don’t want to die, please!” Yet Grian sits with this realization and he is calm. He’d even go as far as to say he’s accepted it.

Summary
Miya Atsumu can see ghosts. It’s a Gift not many possess, but most know about.
A scary Gift.
A powerful Gift.
Of course, Atsumu didn’t see it that way. To him it was just… normal. He’d grown up with the ability to see a soul how they were as they died - natural deaths, violent deaths, tragic deaths - he’d seen them all.
Then there were Atsumu's least favorite type of ghosts: hanahaki victims. There was always lots of violent, soundless hacking to expel phantom petals with those, lips blue and eyes bloodshot as they choked on their love for all eternity. Atsumu had long ago sworn off love as a result, the risk too great. To him falling in love was one of the cruelest fates one could meet.
That just makes it all the more unfortunate, then, when he does fall in love.
And with a ghost, no less.

Summary
Scar had been in love with his cult leader for a long while now, he just never though his feelings would be returned. Especially not like this.
(This is heavily based off of 'Cult of the Lamb'! You can still totally read if you don't know what's going on in the game though, I just take the mechanics and basic plot from it with some Minecraft and my own idea's thrown in for some spice.)
