Izuku was chosen for his lack of quirk. Aizawa was chosen for his quirk’s usefulness as it pertained to the mission. Both were scanned and vetted meticulously, followed for a minimum of one month (Izuku) and a maximum of three (Aizawa; it took much longer due to his pro-hero status).
Kidnapped and subjected to experimentation, torture, and horrors beyond comprehension, Izuku and Aizawa only have each other.

Now truly concerned, Hizashi pulled out his phone and prepared to turn on the flashlight. Not wanting to startle whoever was curled up in the shadows, he announced his movements. “I’m pulling out a flashlight so I can get a look at you, okay? I need to see if you’re okay.”
When he aimed the light at the alcove, he paled and he swore his heart stopped for a moment.
Curled up behind a dumpster in this dirty alley was a child, pale as a ghost and bleeding from two long, angry cuts on their wrists.

It was a few days after the elections where everything started to get weird for Tubbo. The day before, George had run up to the boy with a panicked face. Tubbo knows that George had only ever joined Schlatt’s side as a joke at the beginning and how he can’t back out anymore. So when Tubbo saw the man’s panicked expression, Tubbo felt their stomach sink.
“George? What happened?” George shushes Tubbo and presses a hand to their mouth. George looks around frantically before pulling Tubbo away from the corridor they had stopped in. The two of them walked outside, George removing his hand to not raise any suspicion on them. They reach a corner of the remaining bits of the wall that need to be torn down and George faces Tubbo.
George inhales shakily. “Tubbo, listen to me carefully.” He pauses and Tubbo nods. “Tomorrow, if I’m acting strange like blank or not speaking to anyone but Schlatt, you need to get to Dream as quickly as possible. Tell him that I’m gone and that I hope to see him soon.” Tubbo’s eyes widen at the unsettling message and opens their mouth to ask why but George shushes them.

Summary
The first thing that Izuku registers is the bright light. He winces and covers his face with his arm. He blinks blearily and looks at his arm. He feels a really familiar fabric. He tilts his head down until he is looking at his chest and blinks a few more times. As his vision clears, he realizes that he’s looking down at his UA uniform.
UA? Izuku thinks. He hasn’t been in the school, much less the uniform in years. Maybe even a decade. He stands up and stretches his arms, the uniform rustling as he does so. He looks around and sees that he’s near a familiar hallway he always went through. He smiles and starts to head that way.
He doesn't know what he’s doing here so maybe he’ll go try and find some familiar faces. As he walks down the hallway, he notices that there on the walls were paintings he had never seen before. He walks closer to examine them.

Also known as: number one hero Deku has been through a lot of things, but being thrust into an alternate reality where he’s All for One’s Successor is a first. He has to navigate this world when his alternate self is a villain who's dead-set on killing him and this version of class 1-A. All the while, his friends search desperately for a way to get him back.
